Nutritionify
Nutritionify is a crowsourced nutrition database and API. The community is able to manage brands, ingredients and servings. They also verify every brand, ingredient and serving. The way the system works is a user will use the iOS or Android App to scan the bar code and take a few photos of an ingredient at the grocery store, add an ingredient title and submit it to the database. Next the same or another user will log on via their computer and type up the nutrition label and serving for that ingredient. A separate user will then verify the information typed up matches that of the photo(s).
